The Nigeria 50 Naira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2001. It has a color combination of purple and violet. Its obverse side shows three men and a woman and a map of Nigeria. Its reverse side depicts two workers picking tea leaves and a boy digging for cassava. Security features include an eagle registration device, a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBN, and an eagle watermark. The note is 151 mm x 78 mm and bears the signatures of Governor Joseph Oladele Sanusi and Director of Currency Operations Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Sadiq. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
