This 50 Nigerian Naira polymer note is dated 2015 and signed by Central Bank Governor Godwin Emerfiele and Director of Currency and Branch Operations Olufemi Fabamwo. The blue note measures 130 mm long and 72 mm wide. Its obverse side contains English and Hausa text, the Central Bank of Nigeria logo, and three men and a woman from the ethnic groups of Nigeria. Its reverse side portrays fishermen and the map of Nigeria. Because this note is printed on a polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread. However, it has a CBN watermark. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
