This uncirculated 1,000 Macedonian denar banknote is a standard banknote issued by the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia. It is a brown banknote that is dated July 2022, bears the signature of Bank Governor Anita Angelovska Bezhoska, and measures 152 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a bird earring, an angel icon, a holographic patch, and a portrait of a child Christ and Madonna Episkepsis from the 14th-century church of Saint Vrachi-Mali in Ohrid. Its reverse side depicts the arches from the 11th-century church of Saint Sophia in Ohrid. Security features include a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized bank initials in Cyrillic text and a watermark of Madonna Episkepsis.
