The North Macedonia 500 Denari banknote was issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Northern Macedonia in 2020. Its obverse features the gold death mask from Trebenista. The back of the paper bill depicts poppies. The paper bill is 140 x 70 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread. It is also equipped with a watermark that reflects a death mask.
