The Oman 1 Rial banknote is part of the 2005 issues. It is purple in color and measures 145 x 76 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with crossed swords and khanjar (dagger), an incense burner, and a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The reverse side features the Shabab Oman sailing ship, birds, the 35th National Day logo, the mosque minaret, jewelry, and Jalali Fort. This commemorative banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a sultan and cornerstones design. It is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
