Oman 1 Rial Banknote, 2015 (AH1437), P-48b, Commemorative, PMG 67

TThe Oman 1 Rial Banknote 2015 (AH1437) was issued by the Central Bank of Oman in 2015 to commemorate the 45th National day. Featured on the obverse of this purple banknote is Sultan Qaboos bin Said. It also shows the Al Alam Palace in Muscat and the coat of arms of Oman depicting crossed swords and a khanjar (dagger). The reverse of the note depicts flowers, a khanjar, desert white butterflies, the 45th National Day logo, and the Sultan Qaboos University in the Muscat Government The banknote contains a two-tone windowed security thread and a watermark that reflects an image of the sultan. The note measures 140 x 71 mm and bears the signature of Sultan Qaboos bin Said. This commemorative banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
