Oman 1 Rial Banknote, 2015 (AH1437), P-48b, UNC, Commemorative

The Oman 1 Rial Banknote from 2015 was issued to commemorate the countrys 45th National Day. Its obverse side features the coat of arms of Oman, the Al Alam Palace in Muscat, a khanjar as a registration device, and a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The reverse side features the 45th National Day logo, the Sultan Qaboos University in Al Khoudh, Muscat Governorate, and a Desert white butterflies, flowers, and khanjar. The note is 140 x 71 mm in size and contains a watermark image of the Sultan, and a Two-tone windowed security thread, to enhance its security features.
