The Oman 5 Rials Banknote is from the 2010 Commemorative Issues for the 40th anniversary of Sultan Qaboos bin Said overthrew the restrictive rule of his father in 1970. Each note has a 6-digit serial number and a fractional alphanumeric prefix. The obverse side shows a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said with the Sultan Qaboos University building with clock tower in the background. The main entrance of the CBO headquarters is also displayed. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows Nizwa buildings and the 40th National Day logo. This uncut sheet includes 4 pieces of the Oman 5 Rials Banknotes measuring 153 x 76 mm each and has primarily red colors. All banknotes have a windowed security thread.
