Its obverse side features a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said at the center, with the Ministry of Finance and Economy building, Mirani Fort, and the main entrance of the CBO headquarters in the background. The coat of arms of Oman with crossed swords and khanjar and a crown in green SPARK as a registration device is also printed on the front design.
