This uncirculated 50 Omani rial banknote is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of Oman to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the rise of Modern Omani Resistance and its founder, Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taymur. It is a green banknote that is dated 2020, bears the signature of Sultan of Oman Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and measures 173 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side contains Arabic text, the coat of arms of Oman, a green-to-gold SPARK print of the denomination, the Central Bank of Oman building, Mirani Fort, and a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Its reverse side contains Arabic text and the facades of the Council of Oman, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of Finance. Security features of the note include a crossed sword and khanjar registration device, a gold-to-blue varifeye ColorChange Patch, and a green-to-gold RollingStar windowed security thread. Its watermarks are Sultan Qaboos bin Said and an electrotype denomination in Arabic.
