This uncirculated 50 Rials Oman note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of Oman to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the rise of the Modern Omani Renaissance and to commemorate the memory of its late founder, Sultan Qaboos bin Said. It is a green note that is dated 2020 (AH1441), bears the signature of Haitham bin Tarik, and measures 173 x 76 mm. Its obverse side features the coat of arms, the denomination in green-to-gold SPARK, crossed swords and a khanjar as a registration device, the Central Bank of Oman building, Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and the Mirani Fort. Its reverse side shows crossed swords and a khanjar, the facades of the Council of Oman, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of Finance. Security features include a green-to-gold RollingStar windowed security thread and a watermark of Sultan, and electrotype 50.
