The Ottmachau in Schlesien 50 Pfennig Notgeld is part of the emergency series issued by the City of Ottmachau in the Prussian province of Upper Silesia in 1921. The obverse depicts German markings on the center, a statue of a knight with a shield on the left, and a statue of a bishop on the right. Centered on the back of the emergency banknote is a cityscape depicting a castle. Also on the reverse is the denomination printed on each corner. The banknote does not bear a security thread, however, it has a watermark that shows furrows. The emergency banknote is 86 x 58 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
