The Pakistan 5 Rupee banknote is part of the 1983-1984 issues. It is brown, pink, orange, and purple in color and measures 128 x 72 mm. The obverse side shows a portrait of Mohammed Ali Jinnah wearing a jacket and tie. The reverse side features a bank logo, railroad tracks entering Khojak Tunnel (aka Sheilla Bagh Tunnel) in the Killa Abdullah district of Balochistan, and a revised Urdu inscription beneath the bank name. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Mohammed Ali Jinnah design.
