The Papua New Guinea 10 Kina banknote is part of the 1988 issues. It is blue in color and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with the bird of paradise perched on a Kundu drum and a ceremonial spear, and the National Parliament building in Port Moresby. The reverse side features a tami bowl, a bird of paradise skin, a Tambu shell money from New Britain, boar tusks from the Highlands, and tapa cloth patterns. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a bank logo design. It is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
