This uncirculated 100 Papua New Guinean kina banknote is a commemorative banknote issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea banknote to celebrate Kina & Toea Day on 19 April 2009. It is a green and gold banknote that is dated 2008, bear the signatures of Leonard Wilson Kamit and Simon Tosali, and measures 150 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features the BNG 35th-anniversary logo, the national coat of arms, and the National Parliament building in Port Moresby. Its reverse side depicts a palm tree, cowrie shells, fish, timber, a cargo ship, an oil rig, a bird, a jumbo jet, a dump truck, and a microwave tower. Security features include an Optiks security thread with a demetalized BPNG 100 and a watermark of the bank logo and Cornerstones.
