Reviews:

The Papua New Guinea 2 Kina Banknote was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea between 1981 and 1991. This violet banknote bears English text. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Papua New Guinea with a bird of paradise perched on a Kundu drum and a ceremonial spear. The reverse depicts primitive currencies, a Hombuli mask used for bridal payments in the Sepik region, a kina shell used in Highlands, a shell necklace from Milne Bay, a necklace interwoven with New Ireland seeds, and tapa cloth patterns. The note contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the bank logo. It is 148 x 73 mm in size and is signed by Henry ToRobert and John Vulupindi. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
