The Papua New Guinea 2 Kina Banknote was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea in 1991 to commemorate the 9th South Pacific Games held in Papua New Guinea. Its obverse side shows the national emblem. Its reverse side shows a Mount Hagan ax, a Kula armband from Milne Bay, an engraved dogtooth necklace from Bougainville, a Sepik clay pot, and tapa cloth patterns. The note does not have a watermark or security thread. It is 140 mm x 70 mm in size and is signed by Henry ToRobert and Morea Vele. This commemorative banknote is printed on polymer and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
