Papua New Guinea 2 Kina Banknote, 2017, P-50a.1, UNC, Polymer, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Papua New Guinea 2 Kina banknote is part of the 2017 issues. It is green in color and measures 125 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with bird of paradise perched on Kundu drum and ceremonial spear, and the National Parliament building in Port Moresby. The reverse side features a Mount Hagan ax, a Kula arm band from Milne Bay Province, an engraved dogs tooth necklace from Bougainville, a Sepik clay pot, and tapa cloth patterns. This banknote has no security thread and contains a watermark with a bank logo design.
