This uncirculated 20 Papua New Guinean kina banknote was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea from 1989 to 1992 and signed by Governor Henry ToRobert and Secretary Gerae Aopi. It has a red-brown color scheme and dimensions of 150 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side shows the coat of arms of Papua New Guinea: a bird of paradise perched on a Kundu drum and a ceremonial spear. Its reverse side shows different vignettes: a boar head, a cowrie shell necklace from Madang called a toea, a Toa armband from the Central Province, a shell ornament from the Western Province, and tapa cloth patterns. Security features of the note include a solid security thread and a watermark of the Bank of Papua New Guinea logo.
