Papua New Guinea 20 Kina banknote from 2008, has a pick number of P-36a, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features National Parliament building.

The Papua New Guinea 20 Hina with a pick number P-36a was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea to commemorate the Kina and Toea Day on April 19, 2009. The banknotes obverse bears the 35th-anniversary logo of the BPNG and the coat of arms depicting a bird of paradise sitting on a Kundu Drum and ceremonial spear. The National Parliament Building In Port Moresby is also featured. The reverse of the note displays the head of a boar, a toea or a cowrie shell necklace originating from Madang, an armband made of toea from the Central Province, a shell ornament from the Western Province, and tapa cloth patterns. The banknote is 150 x 75 mm in size and is made of paper. It bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized BPNG. It also has a watermark showing a shadow image of the BPNG logo, an electrotype BPNG, and Cornerstones.
