Paraguay 1,000 Guaranies Banknote, 1998, P-214a, UNC

The Paraguay 1,000 Guaranies Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Paraguay in 1998. This purple banknote bears Spanish text. Its obverse features Mariscal Francisco Solano Lopez and a column. It also displays a round coat of arms with a star, a round emblem with a lion and a star. The reverse depicts the Oratorio de la Virgen de la Asuncion y Panteon de los Heroes (Oratory of our Lady of Assumption and the National Pantheon of Heroes. It contains a solid security thread however it does not have a watermark. It is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by the bank manager Edgar Isidro Caceres Vera and bank president Hermes Anibal Gomez Ginard. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
