Paraguay 10,000 Guaranies Banknote, 2004, P-224a, UNC, Series C

The Paraguay 10,000 Guaranies Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Paraguay in 2004. This olive green banknote has Spanish text. On its obverse is a triangle a symbol for the blind, a round coat of arms with a star, a round emblem with a lion and a cap. It also portrays Dr. Jose Gaspar Rodriguez de Francia. The reverse depicts a man standing around a table with overturned chair declaring independence from Spain on 14 de Mayo de 1811. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized G10000 and a watermark that reveals Cornerstones. The banknote is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Gilberto Rodriguez Garcete and Angel Gabriel Gonzalez Caceres. This particular banknote is part of Series C and is in uncirculated condition.
