The Peru 1,000 Soles de Oro Banknote was issued by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru in 1979. The note comes in a color combination of green brown, red, and yellow. Its obverse features former Congressperson Miguel Grau and the Peruvian coat of arms. The reverse depicts three fishermen with nets and ropes on a boat. The note contains no security thread but bears a watermark that reveals Miguel Grau. It is 150 x 75 mm in size and is signed by Alonso Polar Campos, Geronimo Cafferata Marazzi, Manuel Moreyra Loredo, and Hernando de Soto Pola. This specimen banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
