The Peru 10,000 Intis Banknote is part of the 1985-1991 Inti series where the inti replaced the sol de oro at a rate of 1:1,000. This banknote issued in 1988 has shades of purple, green, red, and blue and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side features Peruvian poet, writer, playwright, and journalist Cesar Vallejo, as well as Perus Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows adobe houses along the street in Santiago de Chuco, and an owl artifact. This banknote has a solid security thread but is watermarked with the image of Miguel Grau.
