This used 10 Peruvian sol de oro note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. It is a red, green, pink, and yellow note that is dated 24 May 1973, bear the signatures of Emilio G. Barreto Bermeo and Luis Barua Castañeda, and measures 155 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features the de la Vega home in Cusco and a portrait of Inca Garcilao de la Vega, the earliest recorded mestizo in the history of the Americas. Its reverse side shows reed boats on Lago Titicaca. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread.
