The Peru 10 Soles de Oro Banknote is part of the 1968-1977 Sol de Oro series which were all printed by Thomas De La Rue, now the world's largest commercial security printer and papermaker. This banknote issued in 1976 is red, green, pink, and yellow in color and measures 155 x 65 mm. The obverse side features Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, the earliest recorded mestizo in the history of the Americas. The front also shows de la Vegas home in Cusco. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows reed sail boats on Lago Titicaca.
