The Peru 5,000 Soles de Oro Banknote is part of the 1976-1985 Sol de Oro series which introduced minor changes in engravings, printer imprints, and serial number fonts. This specimen banknote issued in 1979 is brown, orange and green in color and measures 150 x 75 mm. It was given a grade of 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The obverse side features national hero Francisco Bolognesi. The front also shows Perus Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows miners with a shovel and pneumatic drill.
