The Peru 50,000 Intis Banknote is part of the 1985-1991 Inti series where the inti replaced the sol de oro at a rate of 1:1,000. This banknote issued in 1988 has shades of Red, blue, green, and purple and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side features Victor Raul Haya de la Torre, who founded the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance political movement in Peru, as well as Perus Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows the chamber of the Congreso Nacional (National Congress) and an eagle artifact. This TAP Authenticated banknote has a solid security thread but is watermarked with the image of de la Torre.
