- Peru 50 Intis Banknote, 1987, P-131b, PMG 66
The Peru 50 Intis Banknote is part of the 1985-1991 Inti series where the inti replaced the sol de oro at a rate of 1:1,000. This banknote issued in 1987 has shades of orange, black, red, and green and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side features Nicolas de Pierola, Perus 39th President, as well as Perus Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows a helicopter and three men working on an oil platform. This banknote has no security thread but is watermarked with the image of Pierola. It was given a grade of 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
