This used 5 Peruvian sol de oro note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. It is a black, purple, and green note that is dated 2 October 1975, bear the signatures of Julio Cuadros Muñoz, Carlos Santisteban de Noriega, and Alonso Polar Campos, and measures 155 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features two miners with a jackhammer and a pry bar, the national coat of arms, and the portrait of revolutionary leader Tupac Amaru II. Its reverse side shows the San Bartolome churchyard in El Historico Pueblo de Tinta. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread.
