This used 50 Peruvian sol de oro note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. It is a black, purple, and green note that is dated 15 December 1977, bear the signatures of Cesar Iglesias Barron and German de la Melena Guzman, and measures 155 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features two miners with a jackhammer and a pry bar, the national coat of arms, and a portrait of Peruvian revolutionary leader Tupac Amaru II. Its reverse side shows the San Bartolome churchyard in El Historico Pueblo de Tinta. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread.
