The Peru 500 Intis Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Peru in 1987. Its obverse side honors Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui Tupac Amaru II who led a large Andean uprising against Spain in Peru. Its reverse side shows ancient line drawings and hikers. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BCRP 500 and a watermark of Amaru II. It is 150 x 75 mm in size and bore the signatures of Jorge Ordonez Ortiz, Carlos Capuñay Mimbela, and Cesar Farrafi Quiñe. This particular note bears a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated.
