The Peru 500 Soles de Oro Banknote is part of the 1976-1985 Sol de Oro series which introduced minor changes in engravings, printer imprints, and serial number fonts. This specimen banknote issued in 1982 is blue, orange, purple, and brown in color and measures 130 x 65 mm. The obverse side features military aviator and national hero JosQuines, as well as Perus Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows a logging camp along a river. This banknote has no security thread and no watermark. It was given a grade of 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
