This envelope contains an uncirculated commemorative banknote from the Philippines and its Certificate of Authenticity. The 100,000 Philippine peso is a legal tender banknote that was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Philippine Independence in 1998. It is a yellow, green, and brown banknote that is dated 1998, bear the signatures of President Joseph Estrada and Bank Governor Gabriel C. Singson, and measures 355 mm x 215 mm. Its obverse side contains the Philippine centennial logo, the Central Bank seal, and a depiction of the Cry of Pugadlawin. Its reverse side depicts the centennial logo and the declaration of independence from Spain in 1898 in Kawit, Cavite. Security features include a holographic stripe, a windowed security thread, and a BSP watermark.
