The Philippines 100 Pesos banknote is part of the 2015 issues. It is violet in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows the Central Bank of the Philippines headquarters building in Manila, Manuel Acu Roxas, the inauguration of the Third Republic on 4 July 1946, the seal of the Philippine president, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal. The reverse side features a whale shark, the Mayon Volcano in Legazpi City, Albay, and a Bicol textile design. This banknote uses a 4-mm wide red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BSP100 and contains a watermark with a Manuel Roxas and electrotype 100 design.
