Philippines 100 Piso Banknote from 2008 with pick number P-199 is in uncirculated (UNC) condition. This commemorative banknote features Manuel Acuna Roxas.


The Philippines 100 Piso Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 2008 to commemorate the Centennial of the University of the Philippines. The note features Manuel Acuna Roxas on its obverse. It only shows the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, Roxas lowering the United States flag and raising the Philippine flag on n July 4, 1946, in the Manila Independence Grandstand, and UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES CENTENNIAL 1908 overprint. The reverse depicts the Old Central Bank of the Philippines building. the new Central Bank of the Philippines headquarters building in Manila. It contains a windowed security thread with demetallized 100 and a solid security thread. it also has a watermark that features Manuel Roxas. It measures 166 x 66 mm and is signed by Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Amando Tetangco Jr. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
