The Philippines 100 Piso banknote is part of the 2008 issues of the Central Bank of the Philippines. It is purple and blue in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows Manuel Acuna Roxas, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, and Roxas lowering the United States flag and raising the Philippines flag on 4 July 1946 in Manilas Independence Grandstand. The reverse side features the Old Central Bank of the Philippines building and the new Central Bank of the Philippines headquarters building in Manila. This TAP Authenticated banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetallized 100 and solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Manuel Roxas design.
