The Philippines 100 Piso banknote is part of the 2012 issues. The note commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Manila Hotel, one of the oldest and most prestigious hotels in Manila. It is purple and blue in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows a Green Manila Hotel 100 overprint, Manuel Acuna Roxas, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, and Roxas lowering the United States flag and raising the Philippines flag on 4 July 1946 in Manilas Independence Grandstand. The reverse side features the Old Central Bank of the Philippines building and the new Central Bank of the Philippines headquarters building in Manila. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 100 and solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Manuel Roxas design. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
