This 200 Philippine pesos banknote is dated 1949 ND and signed by Philippine President Elpidio Quirino and Central Bank Governor Miguel Cuaderno Sr. It is part of the series of notes issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1949. Its obverse side features Manuel Luis Quezon, the Father of the Filipino language, and the Central Bank of the Philippines seal. Its reverse side features the Legislative Building, which is currently the National Art Gallery of the National Museum of the Philippines. Although this note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread. It also has a green color and dimensions of 162 mm by 67 mm. This banknote was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company Ltd and demonetized by 28 February 1974. It is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
