The Philippines 5 Piso banknote is part of the 1985-1994 ND issues. It is green, brown, and blue in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows a quill, a triangle with the sun, Andres Bonifacio, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, the historical marker in Barasoain church convent, and a cannon. The reverse side features Emilio Aguinaldo declaring independence from Spain on 12 June 1898, waving a flag from his balcony in Kawit, Cavite. This banknote uses a segmented solid security thread and contains a watermark with an Emilio Aguinaldo design. It is also in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
