The Philippines 5 Piso banknote is part of the series of notes issued in 1969 to finalize the Filipinization of the Philippine money. The front of the note features the Father of the Philippine Revolution Andres Bonifacio. It also shows the seal of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. The reverse of the 160 x 66 mm paper bill depicts new members of the KKK (Kataas-taasang, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan) revolutionary society while theyre signing their names in blood. Other notable details are daggers, a flag, and a skull. The Philippines 5 Piso banknote has a segmented solid security thread. It has a watermark that shows a portrait of Andres Bonifacio and is signed by President Ferdinand Marcos and the 4th Central Bank Governor Gregorio Licaros.
