The Philippines 50 Centavos Banknote was issued by the Japanese Government in 1942. It comes in a color combination of black, blue, and violet. The obverse of the paper bill bears English and Japanese text. It features the coat of arms of the Philippines and two natives riding a water buffalo in the middle of banana plants. The reverse of the banknote depicts bank guilloches. The banknote does not contain a security thread. It has a watermark that reveals a quatrefoil pattern. It is 120 x 58 mm in size and is in used condition. Additionally, the note has been TAP authenticated.
