The Philippines 50 Piso Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Philippines in 1978, bearing a radar serial number. The banknote has a color combination of red, brown, and yellow and bears Filipino text. Its obverse features Sergio Osmena, ANG BAGONG LIPUNAN and guilloche overprint, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal. The reverse depicts the Gusaling Batasan (Congress) building. The note contains a segmented solid security thread. Its watermark reveals Sergio Osmena. It is 160 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Ferdinand Marcos and Gregorio Licaros. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
