The Philippines 50 Piso banknote is part of the 2013 issues. The note commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC). It is red, brown, and yellow in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows a Blue 50 Years 1963-2013 PDIC: Committed to Serve overprint, Sergio Osmena, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, a fountain, and a gavel. The reverse side features the Gusali ng Pambansang Museo (National Museum) building. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Sergio Osmena design. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
