Philippines 500 Peso banknote from 2012, has a pick number of P-214B, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features Benigno Simeon Aquino.


The Philippines 500 Pesos banknote is part of the 2012 issues. It is yellow, orange, and black in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows a Black Manila 2012 45th Annual Meeting of the BOARD OF GOVERNORS Asian Development Bank Manila, Philippines 2-5 May 2012 overprint, a dove with an olive branch, Benigno Simeon Ninoy Aquino, Jr., a flag, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, a dove, a palm frond, and Aquinos manual typewriter. The reverse side features Aquino with a pen and camera as The Manila Times war correspondent covering the Korean War, four people holding hands, a woman with a basket and child giving flowers to soldiers with machine guns, a teacher and student with an open book, the Tarlac Capitol building on Luzon Island, and the Concepcion Municipal Building in Tarlac. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 500 and solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Benigno Aquino Jr. design.
