This used 500 Piso Philippines note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines to commemorate the 45th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank. It is a yellow, orange, and black note that is dated 2012, bear the signatures of Benigno S. Aquino III and Amando Maglalang Tetangco Jr, and measures 160 x 66 mm. Its obverse side features a dove with an olive branch, a flag, a palm frond, the BSP seal, Benigno Simeon 'Ninoy' Aquino, a typewriter, and an overprint reading 'Manila 2012, 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, Asian Development Bank, Manila, Philippines, 2-5 May 2012'. Its reverse side shows the Concepcion Municipal Building, the Tarlac Capitol Building, five people holding hands, a woman with a basket and a child giving flowers to soldiers with machine guns, a teacher and student with an open book, and Aquino with a pen and camera as The Manila Times war correspondent covering the Korean War. Security features include a solid security thread, a windowed security thread with demetalized 500, and a watermark of Benigno Aquino Jr. This used note may contain minor tearing, folding, and/or ink stains. This note was demonetized in 2017.
