This uncirculated 20 Polish zloty note is a commemorative banknote issued by the National Bank of Poland to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Julius Slowacki. It is a brown note that is dated 19 March 2009, bear the signatures of Slawomir Skryzpek and Monika Nowosielska, and measures 138 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse side features a quill and inkwell, the Krzemieniec chalet in Ukraine, the national coat of arms, and a portrait of Julius Slowacki. Its reverse side shows flying cranes, the statue of Sigismund III Vasa, and “Sedation”. Security features include a solid security thread with microprinted 20 Zt and a watermark of Julius Slowacki. The note comes with a commemorative folder from the National Bank of Poland.
