The Poland 50 Zlotych banknote is part of the 2006 issues. It is blue, brown, and green in color and measures 144 x 72 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with a crowned eagle, a world map, John Paul II holding a crucifix-topped staff, and Peters keys. The reverse side features Peters keys, the inauguration of John Paul II with Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, a quotation from Letter to Poles, and the Jasna Ga Monastery and church in Czestochowa, Poland. This TAP Authenticated banknote uses a solid security thread with printed 50 ZL and contains a watermark with a papal seal design.
