This uncirculated 500 Escudos Portugal note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Portugal. It is a brown and multicolored note that is dated 1988, bear the signatures of Abel Antonio Pinto dos Reis and Jose Alberto Tavares Moreira, and measures 156 x 74 mm. Its obverse side features a coat of arms, drawing depicting the liberal jurist and politician Jose Xavier Mouzinho da Silveira. Its reverse side shows a corn sheaf and ears of wheat. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Jose Xavier Mouzinho da Silveira. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
