Portugal 500 Escudos Banknote, 1993, P-180e.7, UNC

This uncirculated 500 Escudos Portugal note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Portugal. It is a brown and multicolored note that is dated 1993, bear the signatures of Luis Miguel Couceiro Pizzaro Beleza and Antonio Jose de Castro Bagao Felix, and measures 156 × 74 mm. Its obverse side features a coat of arms, drawing depicting the liberal jurist and politician Jose Xavier Mouzinho da Silveira. Its reverse side shows a corn sheaf and ears of wheat. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Jose Xavier Mouzinho da Silveira. Additionally, the note was demonetized on 30 April 1998.
